I could feels ome strange sensations a little before then but more definate movements week 14 - oh could even see them on my belly (albeit very quickly!)
and then it stopped again for about another 10 days or so - since then and now its every day - proper tumbling and kicking - mostly in the evening when i m still. (and after sex lol !!)

Hi

I started feeling the very first movements about 11 or 12 weeks. It felt like bubbles popping in my stomach and strange little fluttery feelings. Its only the last couple of weeks that ive started to feel proper kicks though.

My baby seems to have settled into a pattern of being fairly quiet during the day but really active on an evening, especially when in trying to relax, and it feels like she is on a trampoline inside me. It feels really good though and even my OH can now feel her moving if he puts his hand on my bump.

Take care.

Later movements

Hiya,

With my daughter it was around 19 weeks and I expected it to be a lot earlier with the second, but it was actually a bit later; around 21 weeks.

Probably something to do with these rolls of flab.....

Hey

I felt my son move at 23 weeks, but im overweight and the placenta was at the front cushioning the baby's movements.

With my new bump I felt her move at 15 weeks ish, very very slight movements. I don't feel her that often, again because of my weight but when I do there proper kicks. Placenta is at the top/back this time.

Love Toni, Rhys (1) and Lily bump (26+5) x x x

Hi there

I felt the baby move at about 15/16 weeks, reasonably early for my first but its a very long baby so maybe thats why. People feel it at all different times and it depends on size of baby and mum and a whole load of other factors like positioning and placenta etc etc.

Now at 31 weeks i feel nothing else but a disco rave inside me, I actually thought baby was going to pop though my tummy button on sunday there was so much movement and wriggling.

Hope you are keeping well.
Debs.
