Benefits????

hey guys,

I failed something at uni and i have another chance to pass it, but if i fail again, i wont be kicked off the course just back grouped and i wont be entitled to any maternity pay.

I get a NHS funded bursary for being a student nurse. i ws just wondering if they dot pay my bursary for the year that i am off on maternity, are there any other benefits that i am entitled to?

i know that i will get child tax credits when the baby is born ( not sure how much tho) but surely they cant leave me with nothing???

My husband brings home around £1000 a month, and gets £26 a week in working tax credits.

Im hoping that i will pass and get my bursary for the year im off but looking at the worst case senario, wonded what i would be entitled to??

Im not 100% sure love but i didnt want to read & run. I know that if you was working & work couldnt pay maternity pay you would be entitled to materntiy allowance etc off the jobcentre.

When baby arrives you will be entitled to child benefit, child tax credits & working tax credits as your partner works.

I would def book a appoinment with the jobcentre & they will tell you everything. They will even print out a sheet for you.
