Worried

Hi guys

I found out i was pregnant last week and i'm proper stressing. I understand it is quite normal to have period like cramps but i have also had some sharp pains down the right hand side. This is quite normal for me to have these pains even when i wasn't pregnant but i am really worried that its not normal.

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow so will ask her but has had anyone had pains like this and been ok?

I'd appreciate any feedback.

Clare x

Thanks for your support ladies.

It is much appreciated and i do feel a bit better. Although still a bag of nerves!! Me thinks an early scan is a must.. I 'll have no hair left by the time i get to 12 weeks.

I went on the net and i'm either 6 weeks on friday or 7 weeks on friday depending on which site i look at, why is nothing straight forward these days. Hope doc can tell me which one it is.

Every day is a bonus that goes by so fingers crossed they will fly by. I really never thought i would be so stressed with it all.

Ooo just realised i have posted in the expecting forum for the first time, i daren't when i found out in case i cursed it all. So i guess i'm officially expecting!!

Me too

pregnancy is so stressful isnt it!

dont worry hun, when i was very early on in my pregnancy with my son, i had lots of cramps and discomfort and a lot of pain on my left side. i harrassed the doctors until they referred me for a scan to make sure everything was ok, and it was.

i know it is hard, but just try and relax a bit - stressing is no good for you or the baby.

Thank you for your response, it feels better knowing someone else has had them. Its all so stressful first with ttc, then early pregnancy, i am hoping i will be stressing over the next step and then the labour!! Such a long time to go and much can happen!

Hey clare,

Thanks for the messages.....hope all the girls are reassuring you, pregnancy is a weird feeling and everyone gets different symptoms. Some women get alot of aches and pains and everything is fine and some even bleed when there period used to be all through pregnancy??!

Its such a worrying time isnt it and hard to know what is normal and what is not
Hope the scan goes well when you get it sorted, will keep my fingers crossed for you :+)

Take care

Lou xx
