raspberry tea lead capsuls..

hi girls,
How's you all doing. How are you coping with this heat? It's driving me mad, i hate it esp at night as im not getting much sleep as it is with bump (he/she) being so active and this heat.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone is, or are planning on taking raspberry tea lead capsuls. I've brought some from holland and barret but not sure when to start taking them and also how many to take? I've read in the past that some women take six a day

I had them.

Hi there,
Just nipped over frm b n t.
Well I have a 4 week old baby and I tk raspberry leaf tea.
I wasn't plannin on doing put when I got near due date I decided 2 start as I was fed up!
Well I had capsules from holland n barrett.
I was 39 week, they say don't take b4 38 weeks. I tk 6 a day but they say 2 start on like 3 a day then move it up.
They say they are suppose 2 help rippen the cervix n make 4 a easier/ better 2nd stage of labour.
I did have a quick labour, 2 n half hours!
My baby was 3 days late though so they didn't help bring on labour but my 1st pregnancy was a long labour so who knows if they helped or not.
It was a more enjoyable experience this time though. ( not sure enjoyable is the rite word!!!! )

All the very best hun. take care. mummyand2. xx

Heya

I took RLT capsules with my daughter. I started at 32wks with 2 aday, 35wks i took 3 aday, 37wks i took 4 aday & my LO arrived at 38wks otherwise i would have upped them to 6 aday at 39wks.

I have started at 30wks with this pregnancy but only with one a day (when i remember!) & im just starting to up the dose to 2 aday.

I def recommend them. My midwife that delievered said i had a quick labour, baby was early & no tears cos of the RLT.

Heres a good site to look at..
http://www.maternitycorner.com/mcmag/articles/preg0007.html
It explains how safe RLT is. You can actually take it all the way thru pregnancy, ttc & after the birth as it helps the bleeding & uterus tone back up. It will not set labour off. I have never heard anything bad said against it.

Hope this helps

Hello

Raspberry leaf tea or raspberry leaf capsules shouldn't be taken before 34 weeks. When I bought them, the lady at the health shop told me to take one a day between 34 and 36 weeks and then 2 a day from 36 weeks. But I'm sure other ladies have been told other things. It's just important not to take them too early.
I hope this helps,
Take care,
Flo, Etienne 17 months, and 36+1 pink bump.
