Don't worry
Hi i work for london ambulance and i'm still on an ambulance for the next three weeks, 7 months pregnant( everyone thinks i'm nuts and should go on light duties but i can't face being bored in office). Anyway in my job i'm obviously going out to people who we suspect to have it, they are basically treating it like a flu, normal flu doesn't carry acctoss the placenta, obviously they don't know as much about this one yet but it seems to only be a threat to people with an already immune difficiency ie any other underlying illness. I have been in the same room with people with it, the symptoms are the same as regular flu i havn't had any problems if i thought i was putting my baby in danger i'd stay away now. Baby is very well protected if anything your likely to get it perhaps a little more than you normally might because your protecting your un born and he/she is getting all the goodness from you making your immune system a little low. There is mad panic tho it should be cooling off a bit as we are starting to discover its no more the big killer than normal flu which takes elderly victims each winter. good luck with your pregnancy kerry, frankie 15mnths, boy bump 19 wks xxx
