Hey mummies to be,,
I'm pregnant with my second (had a mc with first)
and i cannot help but worry about everything i do.
I'm panicking that i am going to lose this one too.
Im only 6 weeks gone, and i was just wondering if
any of you have had a mc with your first baby then
had a perfectly healthy second one? Is there anything
i can do to prevent a second mc?

Thank you,, Hope everyone is well.

Hey...

Hiya,
I didnt mc my 1st pregnancy I had 2 healthy babies then mc last year. I dont think there is anything you can do to stop yourself worrying though. I was 12 weeks with this baby yesterday and even though im here I still worry! I find if you feel yourself getting wound up or worried take some time out, go for a lie down or a bath just to relax, im finding that a great help. There is nothing you can do to prevent a mc its just nature unfortunatly but every pregnancy is different and embrace this one with some possitive thoughts and take care of your self and if you have any doubts or worrys go to you gp or mw!
take care and enjoy...

Me too!

I am 6 weeks aswell, i have been panicing aswell, i have got an early scan on thurday as i had a M/C on my 1st pregnancy. Its is hard not to worry but i am just trying so hard not to think about it, there isnt really anything you can do i am afraid just let ya body do what its gotta do. My MW told me loads of mums go through MC on there first and are fine the next.

Hope this helps know excatly how ya feeling.

Hi!

Congratulations hun!

I mc at 6wks with my 1st pregnancy and couple of months later got another BFP- so I was very nervous- esp as I found out the week before that I had pcos which means that I had a very very high chance of mc. I have to say I did feel different to my first pg- I can't describe it though. My MW and doc just kept saying to me- if you have a mc it's because the egg isn't developed properly (which doesn't help)!

Unfortunately it's just a waiting game hun, then once your through your 12wks you'll still worry although not as much!! I'm still worried about my baby and I only have a few wks left of my pg but I suppose it's just natural as it's a wee life which is very vulunerable but I am looking forward to holding my little baby boy or girl in a few weeks time!

So good luck I hope this is a healthy pregnancy for you xxxx

Hey...

My very first pregnancy i miscarried and then i got pregnant straight away and had a healthy little girl (she is nearly 14 months now!) So try not to worry, all pregnancies can be different, just take all the normal precautions (take folic acid, avoid alcohol and meds and all the food things) and you will be doing all you can,

Enjoy hun,

Lou , 13 mth Lottie and 6.5 bean xx
