July mummy to be...

Hi ladies and bump...
hope everyone doing great... i wonder if anyone due in july... not long again ya...
actually i suppose to have my c-section this coming tuesday coz my baby is breech, but then i found out that my baby's head go down last thursday. so, went to see doctor last friday and ask me to keep my appoinment on tuesday... the doctor told me that my baby might be change her position again coz there's still quite big space for her inside me to turn around... i wonder what will they do then... anyone ever experience this before?

thanks,

Love,

I'm due 29th July! Can't wait!

Baby's head has started to engage but I was told that baby could still change position- but the foot in my ribs at the minute is convincing me that he/she is still head down!!

I'm due in july too

I'm due 23rd July. Can't wait to meet our LO.

This is our first so baby has been engaged from an early stage. Think I was 1/5 engaged in week 32, 2/5 week 36.

Fingers crossed your baby stays the right way round

Hello

i'm due in july as well, on the 28th, and baby's breech too . I went for a scan on friday which confirmed she was breech and now they are going to try and turn her on thursday. Did they do that with you too? how did it go? I'm not too keen at all on the idea of turning her - as a matter of fact, i just didn't want them to do it and wanted them to book me in for a c-section straight away, but they tried everything to make me change my mind. In the end I was just fed up having to argue why I didn't want an external version and gave in, but i'm not happy at all about it I think it's a bit invasive and I really don't like the idea of them trying to pock and prod my baby! But I might change my mind if she does turn...

I would think in your case that they'd rather keep your appointment for a c-section just in case she does turn again and is breech again. I would think they will scan you on tuesday morning and if she's still head down they'll send you home (what a lot of faf!), but if she is head up again, then they can still give you a c-sec there and then. So take your bags with you hun .

I will keep an eye on the forum to see what's happening.
Love.

Via's right

Its not a very nice experience having your baby turned. They tried to turn mine at 40 weeks!! I didnt find out he was breech until that late! Basicaly, I had 1 doc trying to un-wedge his butt from my pelvis whilst the other tried to shove his head down! I wont lie, I was in tears and had to ask them to stop coz it was SO painful!!
I ended up havin a C-Sec 2 days later, that was horrible too, my uterus wouldnt contract and stop bleeding and I lost twice as much blood as you should do during a C-Sec, I dont actualy know if trying to turn him had anything to do with this but Im convinced it did, it must have aggrivated my uterus somewhat!!!!!

Anyway, Im sorry if Ive scared you but I wish someone had told me what it would have been like before I had it attempted I would never have agreed to it!!

I hope your littlun turns herself

Hi again...

my baby turn down by her self at 37 weeks... the doctor don't want to force my baby turn cause i got my previous scar back in 2005... they afraid that i might have bleeding... so, they just book me for the c-section... i heard that trying to turn the baby is very painful experience... if i were you, i will just go straight away for c-section not just it's very painful but there is a risk to the baby also...
sorry to hear what you been through... hope your baby will turn by her self soon... take care...
