I have to say....

Hi hun,

Have just popped over from B&T and I have to say that I had a c-section and it did not hold me up at all. I was in hospital 5 days but that was because my baby had IV antibiotocs. I would have been out the next day otherwise. I had my c-section at 6pm and by about 8am the next day I was out of bed and tending to my baby.

I have a very very small scar and it was a very positive experience for me

Hope that helps hun

Love Nikki xx

Me too!

I'm really nervous about doing it all again too. Will daughter will b 21 months when baby is born.

I had a trilateral tear with my daughter, not sure how deep though, but nothing has been said about what to do this time, My midwife, rarely tells me anything!

I'm really nervous about tearing again as I know it might not heal as well, also I have pelvic prolapse, so don't know if that will make a difference. Have already been told I may have to have a 'tuck' afterwards if it doesn't improve.

I took a good 6 months to heal too, externally, it healed within about 3 weeks, but took much longer internally.

So yes in sort i'm feeling a bit scared too!

i had a bad tear with my little boy so wasnt given an option over the brh this time as i was told if i tear againt hey wouldnt be able to repair it so im booke din for my section. my little boy is also 2 so im hoping i can be out of hospital asap but i would rather have a section knowing i will heal in 4-6 weeks than try going natural and risk tearing again. i hink its best you weigh up the pros and cons xx

me too!

I'm due in 10 wks with my second baby. My first little boy will be 17mths! I also had a forceps delivery and an episotomy so I am quite nervous that I will tear there or have to have another one! It was so painful of a recovery!! No one seems to be able to answer my questions either! Has anyone else had a forceps delivery and managed to have a successful birth next time round?

My opionion.......

Hello Ladies,

just popped over from B&T and i just wanted to let you all know i had a horrendous birth with my son who is 2 1/2, we had to have a episiomity (SP) and ventouse delivery which was horrendous, took ages to heal and very sore for a while, again i was told by my MW that with my daughter i may well tear in the same area again so to be prepared!!!! With my daughters birth i didnt go into hospital until 9.15am and she was born only on gas and air at 11am with no tears or anything so please dont worry, i managed to have a fab brith after the horrendous one with my son and would do it all over again now

hope thats helped a bit
