I am just starting my 17th week and I have to say I have quite a bump people cant elive im only 16 weeks .I have hadmy first scan at 10 weeks and there is definately only onehas anyone else got a big belly at this stage

I am just 16 weeks too, and am really big! I started showing at just 12 weeks, and am already wearing maternity clothes. Baby is v healthy, though, so I'm (trying!) not to worry too much about it!

Yes I am exactly the same, I am 16 weeks today and I have a fair size bump, people also ask me if its twins, and its not! So your not the only one! I was already showing at 10 weeks when I was pregnant for my son, so I guessed I would be the same this time!
I don't know about you but I have long legs with a short body, so I guess any excess weight just has to come out? Thats my explaination anyway!!

I was convinced that I was carrying twins. I am just coming up to 16weeks pregnant and are also huge. I haven't over eaten and am moderately excerising but my bump is massive. I began to get paranoid about the comments that I was receiving but have realised that I don't smoke, don't drink and eat well so my baby is just healthy in plenty of fluid.

Enjoy your bump there are others desperate out there to gain a bump. With my first pregnancy I wasn't showing until well after 20weeks and was upset.

Hi I am 23 weeks pregnant with a HUGE tummy. People are always asking me if I am going to deliver any day now. I am scared cause if I am this huge already..imagine how I will be at 40 weeks!! Also I am really tired and getting some pains in the pelvis which I usually associate with when one is coming to term (this is my 4th child by the way). So I can certainly relate to you since I think my belly was big from the time I found out I was pregnant!!!

Hi Sarah, im 15 weeks and 4 days, and my bump ir rather big. I've had 2 scans, the last being at 12 weeks and they assured me that there was only 1 in there. I'm still not totally convinced though, and wouldn't be suprised if they tell me there are 2 at my 20 week scan!

I was buying maternity clothes at 11 weeks!

Ive put on 11 bl, and it's all on my belly!

I have only put on 2 lbs but I feel huge! I was in maternity clothes at around 10 weeks or so. This is my third child, and people have told me that the more children you have the earlier you show. I feel the same way about how many are hanging out in there, I had a scan at 7 weeks and one at 13 weeks and there was only 1 showing. Best wishes too you!

Sarah i kinda know what your going thru i am 16 &+ 5 and i am measuring 28weeks, which sucks. People call me fake on the net cause i'm so young and so big that they think i'm a fake, sucky. Anyways, atleat you can see a bump some people are to small, but they won't get so bad back ache, i think lol...

Does any1 no how i should tell my parents as i am staying with my sister so i don't have to face her..

I am just 16weeks and look like I'm 6months! This is my fifth pregnancy and usually don't start showing until my 5th month! This must just be a really big baby!

Dear Sarah,

yes I am also 16 weeks and have a huge bump!! Even strangers are shocked when I tell them my baby isn't due until September. I did think I was having twins because there is a history in the family and I am also older at 39.
However, the scan proved me wrong. My midwife said it will settle down and that I it is because it is my second pregnancy. Well we shall wait and see.

Hey, I am 16 weeks today.. And I too have a huge belly I've had one since i was like 14 weeks... Its neat isn ... is this your first baby? this is my second and i didn't go this fast with my first one.. Another thing i can not beleve is how bad my breasts hurt.. well mostly my nipples r u having the same problem too?

i am 14 weeks and my belly seems huge, this is my second child as i have a 13 year old daughter. i have had to buy maternity clothes already. i had a scan 2 weeks ago and i only have 1 in there. i already feel him/her moving.

Hi Sarah, my name is kate, im also 16 weeks pregnant well 16 wqeeks and 2 days to be exact. I had to tell everyone about my pregnancy at 5 weeks because i am naturally a skinny person and was showing by this time. I now have a huge bump and breasts and i am already being asked ny people i dont know how many weeks i have left. It can be a little disheartening but at least we never had to go through the "fat" stage where we were pregnant but people thought we may have just put on a little weight.

I just turned 16 weeks pregnant and I have a small lump but its still soft, not hard or anyting. I HAVE felt the baby, it feels like a tingly feeling right under my belly. I have gained a lot of weight and am having trouble sleeping. Any similar feelings?
