You can dye your hair but the colour might not come out the same as it has before!!

My midwife said you can use whatever you like... but some women don't use hair dye as it can be absorbed directly into the scalp and there is an argument to say the toxins could pose a risk to the baby. But there isn't any proof that is true either!! Confusing!!

I've stuck to foil highlights as they don't get put on the scalp, just to be safe, but it's totally up to you.

Sorry I've not been much help!!!

Hey...

You can use anything hun, the only reason they tell you to be careful is due to your oils in your hair changing and sometimes the dye doesnt take.

I have had a few friends that have had nightmares, one tried to bleach her hair and it wouldnt lift, and the other tried to dye hers dark and it just kept washing out lol.

Might be an idea to do a strand test before you start?!

Hope this helps,

Alex, megan (5) and baby bump 26+5 xx

Thanks for replies
