I cant feel him moving any more

Hi Ladies,

Your Help has been so good over past few weeks thought i would try it again....

I am now 23 and 4 days, And have been feeling baby move and kick since i was 18 weeks ish. Got told yesterday I was dehydrated and suffering from exhaustion, because baby taking everything from me instead of just what he needs. I have been told i have to go back in a week, but etting worried because i havent felt him move in past couple of day since starting with sickness....

Can anyone help...Really worried and starting to wonder if he is ok in there....or if because i'm being sick he's not getting everything he needs...trying different foods to try keep them down but nothing seems to be sticking!!

Can anyone suggest anything to try eating or drinking to help me get better??

Thank you everyone

Love Charlotte and Baby bump Charlie Graham (23 plus 4)

Thank you

Hi ladies, Just want to say thank you for all your help.
I spoke to midwife last night, Got told to try cold water and a bath, but neither worked...went to get checked out, and all is ok, I heard hs heartbeat and saw him on a scan again........

Turns out he was just not moving they said some babies do it when they are out of energy so been told i have to eat chocolate.....doesn't get any better than that!!!!!

As for sickness they have given me some anti sickness tablets which seem to be working!!

Just want to say Thank you for all your help over past few weeks!!

hey im over from B&T but when i was pregnant if she wouldnt move i would try drinking cold water, warm bath, laying on my left side and just relaxing... because you havent felt him in the past couple of days i would ring ur MW just to go in and be checked... notthing to worry about but just to re-assure u that things are ok.

Hey ya

I am sure i heard my midwife say in my last pregnancy if you re worried that he isnt moving to drink a glass offf ice cold water and apprently that should make him move, dnt know if it works but it worth a try i guess.

Hi

Firstly i dont want to alarm you but you need to contact your midwife or maternity hospital and get them to bring you in to have babies movements monitored just to make sure he is ok, dont feel as though you are wasting their time, its better to be safe than sorry.

On the eating front i would just try to eat little and often and try to make sure you get plenty of fluids even if you dont feel up to drinking. You could also try something like complan which is a meal in drink form and contains all the vitamins etc you need.

You could also ask your doctor for some anti sickness medication which is often given to women who are suffering from really bad morning sickness.

I really hope you do get yourself checked out.

Take care.
