Hi everyone - congrats to you all on being pregnant!

Just wondered what kind of cravings everyone was having?!

Mine are :

SOLERO EXOTIC ICE LOLLIES! ( Wasnt a lover of ice cream before pregnancy as it hurt my teeth but now i can quite happily crunch on ice cubes!)

PORK CRACKLES/SCRATCHINGS! ( Used to think these were revolting but cant get enough of them now! )

Also love CHEESECAKE but after my third piece last weekend, i wondered if it was safe to eat as it's made from soft cheese?!!!

and im craving real bad for WHEAT CRUNCHIE CRISPS IN TOMATO FLAVOUR but cant seen to find them?! Any suggestions?!

x

The only things I craved was Ready Salted Pringles, plain chow mein (I only had to ask for my 'usual' when I went in) and Coca Cola, which wasn't so good considering I had gestational diabetes!! x x

Im now 16 weeks and my cravings seem to have stopped. I was really into sour cream at one point. I was dipping party sausages, sausage rolls & battered onion rings in ait at every available opportunity. I hate nachos but dipped in sour cream they were quite nice. i seem to have a thing for crunching ice cubes as well.....

the things we eat when were pregnant!!!!

"Carrot cake!"
Posted by sarahni1 18 May  at  16:06

My main craving has been for those little slices of carrot cake that you get from Pret. Terrible, but I could eat at least one a day.

Otherwise, I am having very much a love hate relationship with my food. My nausea has turned me off anything which smells strong and I have gone back to really plain meat and three veg sort of food.

"About cheesecake"
Posted by florence200677 17 May  at  16:13

I've just read that you can eat cheesecake if it's a cooked cheesecake.
Oh by the way, I have a recipe for a mean mango cheesecake if you want (and it's cooked so no harm!)
No craving yet (although I was quite fancying Stafforshire oakcakes this morning, I was about to drive to the shop and buy some, but then i felt nauseous again...!), I'm rather off my food at the moment to be honest. i'm 6 weeks tomorrow and i've been feeling nauseous since yesterday. oh dear !

Hiya Kerrie

Pork scratchings - eww! lol, couldn't face those, still. I am enjoying celery with just about anything, pasta with either ketchup or mayonnaise on it, chocolate with hazelnuts in it (don't usually enjoy choc much) and jelly beans (always have loved them!). Don't Asda do Tomato Wheat Crunchies? I do like those...may have to search myself...lol

I have started to really enjoy strawberry milkshakes too. I wonder if there's something in it? Calcium from the milk...wonder what the strawberries add?
