If you click on this link or cut and paste it:

http://www.paternityangel.com/Preg_info_zone/Weigh-t/CalcWeight.htm

This takes you to a really good site that not only calculates the weight you have put on and tells you if it is okay but can also tell you how much to expect at each stage.

I found it really helpful, I had put on about 5lb by 3 months, but am now 28 weeks and have gained a stone and one pound, so am mostly bump but have some fat I can see on my hips that wasn't there before.

I have found though that i wasn't eating enough, if you are getting very, very tired up your intake slightly, it won't hurt. Most of the fat you lay down is brown fat and it burns really quickly so you can breast feed, only if you madly overeat will you lay down white fat that is hard to shift, so you can relax a bit.

I also gained most of my weight suddenly so I stayed the same for weeks and then put on 5lbs, which is a bit scary!

Good luck

Sarah

You need to know that the weight you will take depends on if before pregnant you were at the right weight, under or over. For some women, it is normal to take 20 kilos, some others will take only between 9 and 13 kilos. You can ask your GP about that or check internet.

I am in my 38 weeks and i have put on 20 kilos but i was under my weight and all the kilos are in my tummy! from my backside, you can't imagine that i am pregnant !

I don't think there is an average per month neither per week as it depends on every woman's body. Some women take a lot of weight in the middle of their pregnancy and stabilise at the end, some do the opposite.
Having quickly a little tummy is quite normal, your body change a lot during the 1st three month, don't worry.

I love nutella, i can't help it, i need it, i didn't stop to eat it during all my pregnancy...

Try this website, you will find plenty of good advices and also, it follows you week per week. http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/

Good luck !
