"In my opinion" Posted by indigobaby 21 May at 20:02
I dont use any of the creams that the media say get rid of dry skin as i dont find they are very natural ,sometimes doing more harm than good , though i do use oils almond or grapeseed if you are allergic to nuts there are others too you can get from the health shop, i mix it with a couple of drops of lavender, its a good idea to do it after a bath before bedtime too as it gives the oil time to soak in overnight, lavender helps you sleep and relax too, also you can get emu oil, over the internet and i use this now it is incredible mine was 10 pounds for three bottles on e bay, it gets rid of allsorts and makes your skin as soft as a babies bum ! How are you finding your pregnancy? Would be good to hear what you think , Abigailxx

hey,
I know it sounds silly but i used Johnsons Baby lotion and my skin goes really really soft...maybe use some E45 initially and keep your skin hydrated there after.
Hope it helps.

have you tried using a cream that has vitamin E in? i have begun to suffer from dry skin and found that using cocoa butter with vitamin E in helps.
hope this helps Hayley x

"Dry skin" Posted by suzie20071 21 May at 14:52
hi.. i am nearly 24 weeks pregnant and have started to get really dry skin too ..... its very itchy and very sore and mainly on my legs ..
I have just been using my normal moisturising cream which does soothe the itching but doesnt actually cure the problem.
I am going to maybe use a cream that has a good ph balance... ie Johnsons PH 5.5 - might help to get rid of itching!
sorry i dont have any answers but hope it helps knowing that ur not alone!

Hi - skin isn't too dry - but have been using Palmers Cocoa butter to prevent stretch marks. It is brilliant! Also smells of toffee/fudge. I would try it out.
