Its triplets, not twins, and i'm scared!

Hi. I was on here a bit ago saying that I was expecting BG twins. Well, I just went in for a scan at 26 weeks, and the doctor told me that he saw three babies instead of two!!! Patrick and I are really nervous about this because we know how high-risk a triplet pregnancy can be. I need something to calm my nerves!!! Anybody have any advice, suggestions of what I (and Patrick) should do to relax during this pregnancy?

Thanks,

Laurie

Congrats!

Wow, hun, you and Patrick must be very fertile! Four young children and now naturally conceived triplets is incredible! I don't mean to sound silly, but have you and he tried making love as a way of relaxing about the pregnancy? Likely, your husband views your burgeoning belly and immense fertility as incredibly erotic and sexy, and he may even feel an erotic sense from the fact that his seed has caused this amazing pregnancy. Let him express that. For you, this is perfectly safe and natural, and it will likely bring great pleasure with the increased hormones in your body. For comfort, perhaps try rear entry, letting your belly hang down freely. And, your breasts are now much more sensitive than they are without pregnancy, so allow your husband to grip your chest as he thrusts into you - this sensation will be really attractive to you. When I was pregnant with my first (Risa, now 4 months), Brogan and I had intercourse daily. It really relaxed me and made me feel confident in my body and my ability to give to him and the child. Now, with Risa just still a babe, Brogan and I have miraculously conceived again, and the love making is still erotic and intensely pleasurable.

When your babies arrive, just stay organized and you'll be fine. Good luck, sweetie!

Love,

Janine, Brogan, Risa, and the little bub

Congratulations! I'm afraid I don't have much advice as this is my first pregnancy and it's only one in there!

But I found these 2 links that might help you:

Great!

Wow, thanks, Sophie! Those links were terrific - if those people can handle this, than so can I, right? I think it was just the initial shock that sent me over the edge, but I guess it will be fine. We are so excited to be welcoming more children into our family. Thank you, and best of luck with your pregnancy!

Love,

Laurie
