Got my 12 weeks scan letter now im worried

hi girls got to have bit of a moan
i been waiting for my letter but now i got it i dont want it reading the letter i felt like crying the memorys of my mc came back and now im freaking out its all gonna go wrong again all i can think is the 22nd of this month its all gonna go bad and im gonna get the news that the baby is dead not sure how i wil cope on the day if im feeling so worried now
i cant stand the thought of losing this baby as wel and i just really worried

I know exactly how you are feeling!!!!! I was the same this time around - I paniced right up until I see the heartbeat today!!!! I had my scan this morning/afternoon and I was so sure that when I got there they would say there was nothing there but there was!!! This little dancing baby!!!!! They made me 11 weeks so a week less than I thought so now I have another whole week to wait to reach my 12 week mark again!!!!

I am so sorry about your last pregnancy, but remember that this is a different one... We all worry about our 12 week scan and think exactly the same as you are, it's perfectly normal to get yourself in a bit of a state. I can't really offer much advice apart from i think we all posted how scared we where when it came to our scan... we all thought the same as you...

Please try to stay positive, this is a new chapter now...

Aww hun - i had a m/c with my first ever pregnancy and it was awful although i never got to scan so i cant imagine what that was like - although i know what it feels like to lose a baby (lost my daughter) when i got pregnant with her though i was so paniky at all the pains i had and just constatly though i was going to miscarry again - my sis in law was pergnant also and got really bad pains and was rushed to hopital and had scan thinking it was eptopic (it wasnt)..

So few days later i went up to the early pregnancy unit and pretented i had really bad pains in my side and few hours later i was on the bed having a scan to check that the pregnancy was in the right place (i knew it was as i didnt really have any pains at all) and walked out seeing little beans heartbeat and relaxed for the next weeks til my 12week scan...

I know its really dishonest thing to do but after what you've been through i think you should get an early scan and i think the pregnancy care is sh*t in this country.

Im sure everything will be ok just try and relax and enjoy your pregancy...

thanks for the advice i will try and relax but it will b hard as for the care being ... in the uk yea ur so right sammie it is aload of ... i asked my gp for a early scan and he said " there no point u could have a scan today but tomorrow it could die " yea just what i wanted to hear bet the wifes get more help and better care than us normal people
