Bled a bit after sex...is this bad?

Hi, girls. I was here just a bit ago about my unplanned pregnancy (Brogan and I have a four-month-old girl and I just fell pregnant again!). Anyway, after sex today with hubby, I realized I was bleeding a bit. Now, we were a bit more rowdy than usual - scrap that, a lot more - but this has never happened to me before! Should I be worried? I'm about 5 weeks pregnant at this point.

Thanks,

Janine

Hey

I had this when I was pregnant with my daughter and my MW said it is normal to bleed after sex especially if rougher than normal. If your worried at all ring your MW and she maybe able to sort you an early scan .

Take care

Thanks!

Oh, gosh, thanks for responding! I'm glad your MW says it is normal...I was really worried there for a minute I might be miscarrying the baby! But, the bleeding only lasted right after the sex, and I'm all good now.

Thanks,

Janine, Brogan, Risa, and the little bub

No worries

She also said that some ladies bleed coz your partner can dislodge old blood that is hanging around up there (TMI) but thats what she said.

I bleed at 8 wks with my daughter just a small bit and then again at 18wks and (TMI coming) this time you would have said someone had been murdered in our bed there was so much blood I was crying uncontrollably coz I thought I had lost our daughter - we went to the hospital at 7am on a Sun morning to be scan and told everything was normal and ok they couldnt find a reason for such a big bleed but said they could only put it down to sex, they said to just be careful next time. Needless to say after that my OH was so scared we might hurt baby that he was very cautious about doing anything!!!!

Anyway take care
