Really bad morning sickness and baby names!

Okay, just went for my six week scan - I know, early stages - and everything is looking good. But, I'm having the worst morning sickness that really seems to last throughout the day! Doctor says I'll get through it, but does anybody have any remedies?

Also, we are beginning to talk names, even though we obviously don't know the baby's gender at this time. We want two boy and two girl names so we can pick once he or she (or twins) arrive! Our daughter is Risa Magdalene Quintol (4 months), and we'd like the new baby's name to fit in.

So far, for a girl, we like Orella Celeste, Isla Floriane, and Elia Karise Quintol. What do you think? Any more suggestions? We really need help with BOY names!!! We like Darin Constantine and Tullus Jerome Quintol, but we aren't totally sold.

Glad your scan went well. Sorry to hear about the morning sickness. I had it pretty bad and found ice cold jelly cubes helped, random I know but I found it very soothing.

As you know I really love Orella for a girl and I just saw you like Bowie for a boy, that is such a cool name!

Thanks, girls! I appreciate the advice. I sent Brogan out to get me some ginger cookies, so I hope those will help, and I'll try some sparkling water and mints, but that just sounds awful to me right now. Oh, I can't wait for the sickness to be over with! I can't barely handle it on top of caring for my little Risa!

I think we are pretty set with the girl names, but watch me totally change my mind in six months, or watch the baby be a boy! Haha. Some new boy names we like are Bowie, Curran, Egan, and Kellan. I really like Egan myself, but Brogan likes Kellan best.

great that everything went ok with scan. names, well me and b/f kept going thru names, and couldnt decide so we decided to wait until we know what it is then we will think more so sorry but not much help on the names, although i do like your choices, theyre unusual and i like unusual names.
as for the sicknes, i havent been sick at all as yet but have felt sick a lot and i found that ginger biscuit does help. i dont usually like ginger but when youre a bit fed up of feeling sick ul try anything. i also heard that pretzils are suposed to be good, not tried them tho so im not sure if they work.
hope it doesnt last long, mines wearing off a bit now

Glad to hear that scan went well

I never had morning sickness as early as you but when mine set in it was horrible lol I went off everything especially meat and cold salads including pasta salads etc lol

My remedy and what got me through it was sparkling water and mints. I know some people recommend ginger biscuits i never tried it but that is an option. Also chicken soup seemed to help me and at times rice cakes.

But the best thing for me without a doubt was sparkling water and mints lol

As for names i wish i could help, im further ahead and im still having problems choosing

Boys name i have no idea really me and my hubby have only come up with two that we like ricardo and daniel although i like Kai but my hubby doesnt lol
