Due in 10 days!

Hi ladies,

I'm due on the 17th (Next Thursday) and this past week have been feeling pretty sore. This is my second baby so u'd think I'd remember labor signs! Although I believe 2nd time round it can happen differently.

For the past few days I've had lower period like pains, still the same amount of discharge (Sorry if TMI), and lower backache. I have also a hell of a lot of braxton hicks.

I feel constant pressure in my lower region also but instead of having the runs which I had last time, I am having trouble going at all but feel like i'm going to explode! sorry for all the TMI!!

Anyone any idea if this means things are moving along? Are these good signs? HELP!

Hiya

I was exatly the same the second time around! It was totally different from the first time. I remember asking everyone & saying that i hadent had the clearouts the second time around where as the first time i was constantly on the loo from 33wks!

The 2wks before i had my LO i had really bad BHs which were very regular in the evening but nothing ever came of them.
I also couldnt decide if the pains were contractions or just BHs when i was actually in labour! I kept ringing my mum to ask if i would know if i was in labour or not. It wasent till the pains started taking my breath away & that i could time them that i actually thought aye this is finaly it!!

I think with you first your very aware of every little twinge so when labour does start you just know its a different pain.

Hope this helps

Hey hun...

I feel exactly the same, and have been googling for the past 2 days lol.

All I can seem to find is that it means your body is preparing for bubba to arrive.

I went to the Hospital on Thursday, as I was having regular pains. They wern't painful, just uncomfortable. Just the same feeling as though I was coming on my period. They started in my back and I'm now getting them in my lower abdomen.

I went three times (for a no.2) the other day and now I'm strugglin too!

I'm really sorry I can't be of much help, but at least you know someone else is in the same boat.

sorer today!

Well today I lost had a bit of a show and this evening i'm having irregular contractions (a lot more sore than braxton hicks!) but they are irregular!

I've no appetite, feel constipated (although I did have the runs this morning) and have nausea.

I haven't rang the hospital as being my second i'm not gonna panic like I did first time!

Has anyone else had these symptons and then they stopped??
