My birth story... finally!!!

Hiya Ladies... here goes!!!

On thurs 27th Aug I got up with my little boy and felt wet on my undies and pj bottoms didnt really think alot of it then throughout the day it kept happening so rang the hosp who told me to go in, I was due to go in the next day anyway as bubs was suspected breech, i was examined and was told that my waters were slowly leaking.
I was told that i needed to have a scan as if bubs was breech I would need a section straight away, I was scanned and thankfully was not breech. I was having tightenings every 2-3mins but were not overly painful so I went home and was told to go back at 11.00 the next morn 28th, I went back and was put on the monitor bubs was fine, and because my waters were leaking was booked for an induction sat morn 29th, as soon as they mentioned this i started getting worse tightenings!! I was examined and was 3 cms dilated, I had to wait a while for a bed on labour ward.
I got taken down at about 4.00pm and had the gel put on my cervix to help get things moving. My partner and sis in law were with me too. I was examined at midnight and was told that my cervix was closed and my waters hadnt broke!!! They then tried to break my waters but couldn't (was agony!!) They had to get a consultant down put my legs in stirrups and bum in the air!! She managed to break them which was a relief!!
They then put me on the drip to speed things up, i was sooooo tired at this point and thought i would try and get some sleep so sent partner and sis in law home at 2.30am.
The contractions came thick and fast after this but i managed to cope with no pain relief and just breathed through them.
I was examined at 6.00am and was told i was 4 cms and still would be a few hours so I called partner and told him to make his way back to hosp.....
But at 6.20am i got the urge to push screamed for help all the midwives come rushing yelling at me not to push as I was not ready but 3 pushes later my baby boy was born at 6.26 am weighing 6lbs 9oz's 12 days early!!
My partner missed it by 5 mins!!
I was home by 1.30 pm the same day! I had a 2nd degree tear and 15 stitches.
He is an absolute perfect baby sleeps soooo well only wakes once during the night am hoping it stays that way!!
We have named him Reggie Jake Wheeler.
Hope everyone is well.

Love Fallon, Lennie 20 months and Reggie 9 days old!! xxx
