Is it normal....

to get quite a few headaches in pregnancy for the last week and a half i have been getting them on and off and they can be rather painful. I have been taking paracetamol but worried that taking too many will harm the baby.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I too got lots of headaches when I was preggers. I was told by the Doc you cantake a NORMAL adult dose of Paracetamol the same amount of times a day as you would normally xx

how many things do we have to go through.

Noone warns you about the tiredness and the other symptoms.. I shouldn't complain really cos i am very lucky to have the baby growing inside me.

So glad it is normal and not just me hopefully they won't last another 6 weeks. I'm really life and soul at the moment with headaches, toothache, belly ache and going to bed before 9 every night!!

Yip!

I had loads, funny headaches that wouldn't shift with paracetamol. It's hormonal (aren't we yet again lucky?). Mine cleared a lot by week 21ish and i hardly get any now.

Good luck, rest assured it's normal and yet another joy of preganacy - lol.

Yup. It's normal. No idea why you get them in pregnancy but it is a common symptom.
You only have to watch them when you get into the 3rd trimester as this can be a sign or pre-eclamsia *sp*?

Paracetamel is fine now your past 12 weeks. You have to speak to your doctor if you want to take them in the first 3 month and the last 3 month.
