Just thought i would share...
Went to see my mid-wife today and explained all about m sciatica and how work was being horrible and really unhelpful, and she was great, she said that they had no right to make me feel bad as she know how painful sciatica is, dragged me straight in to see the Docotor and got me signed off for a week.

I know work arnt going to be very happy and the girls in the office will probably have a good ... about me, but at the end of the day its my baby and im going to look after her no matter what. Im just looking forward to being able to sleep all week! or try too anyway..

Hope u are okay..... just thought i would give u all an update... still in pain but mentally alot happier

Well done! It's always a big step to take (being signed off) but obviously the MW and the Doctor thought it necessary. So what if they have a good.... about you, do you really care? Your baby and yourself are more important.

Hope you have a really good rest and your sciatica eases up.

How is baby bump?? I can really notice mine when i lie flat and stroke the bulge, it feels really odd!!! My trustee red coat won't fasten up and i had loads of room in it a few weeks ago, i was quite shocked as i didn't think i was showing that much - lol .. I am having loads of kicks now, you?

Heya... well I rang work this morning to let them know i have been signed off for a week and my manager said I qoute 'so your having a week off then?!' I said NO ive been signedoff for a week very different!

Yeah my bump is getting quite big now, and has gone rock hard!!! I am seriously running out of clothes that fit!! Did buy some maternity leggings which u can just shove on with a long top.... sooo comfy!!
Yeah she is kicking loads It really is the best feeling in the world isnt it?? I could be having the worst day ever and a little kick from baby makes everything seem worth while!!

I cant believe how close we are getting!! Have u bought much for baby?

Pathetic!! You have your sick note so stuff her. Just think of her slaving away - lol!

I have bought everything! I thought that time was going far too quickly and i better get a bit organized. i haven't gone over board, just have everything for the first 2 weeks, 12 sleepsuits, 14 vests, couple of packs of nappies, wipes, bum cream a few blankets.... I will enjoy shopping for her when she is here! I have a travel system too!! I don't want to be heaving myself round shops in a few months.... I have enough for an overnight bag, so that will do.. I have bought no bottles as i will breast feed for first few months.

I had really sore boobs a couple of weeks ago and now i have a bit of milk! Never had it that early with the others....

I have some of those legging!! Like a second skin...Mmmmmm.

I love Christmas, it will be extra special this year....
