Strange questions....

Recently i keep thinking up these strange questions:

i.e How does a midwife know how many cm dilated you are? Does she get a ruler?? Goes by the width of her fingers or is it just a guess.

Why do belly buttoms pop? Do they go back to normal and when?

What do you wear when you go into labour?

I'm sure there is normal answers to these questions but being a beginner they do cross my mind, perhaps i need a straight jacket!! Hopefully i am not the only odd person.

Love

Hi

they gave me one of them gowns that flap open in the back, don't know why i had nightshirts. x

Hehe

Your post made me laugh...

Firstly they use there fingers, they pop out because your stomache streches soooo much and yes it does go back to normals and lastly - with mya i went in with a vest top and comfy trousers - just ended up compleely nacked - this time i have bought myself a nighty so can pop that on and it unbottons so can breast feed eas etc... but i think what ever you want..

Thank you

I'm glad it made you laugh, it made me chuckle thinking about it but they are questions that i really didn't know the answer too!!

Thank you for your answers, not sure i like the idea of being starkers but i am sure when i am in that situation it won't matter, think i'll go with the nighty though!!

Can't wait to be as far on as you.
