Mixed growths in urine

Hey hope everyone is well.
I received a letter from the hospital this morning saying I might have an urine infection. I phoned them up and asked wether the sample was from the 30th aug or 3rd sep, turns out the mixed growths were from both samples. I'm fuming, I can't believe they have left it so long to tell me. I have to take a sample down to the doctors today to check yet again if I have a uti, fresh red topped bottle (although the sample from 30th was a red topped bottle).

How dangerous is it to have a uti for 2 weeks+ ? Also what happens if I go into labour when you still have a uti?

I had that, during the first 12 weeks. It took them 2 weeks too!

I think we should start a petition to get the MW care uped a notch or so - its rubbish!!!!

I can't believe they have left you for 2 weeks - do you have any pain or anything?? I don't think its harmful to the baby until the point that it is painful for you - i think i read that some where..

Not sure about the labour thing have you gone on the cow and gate website and done a live chat with one of the MW on there im sure they can answer your questions?

The mw care is ridiculous atm, not only can I not have my bp checked by my mw (no large cuff),they leave me waiting weeks to find out my urine results and I swear if my mw goes on about my weight one more time...lol.

I have been getting a few pains when I wee but luckily its only been going on for two days but that could just be pregnancy related.
Never thought about going on the cow and gate website, might have to check that out.

Doctor is gonna test my urine this afternoon sometime so finger's crossed I should know today. I'm gonna be so annoyed if I defo have a uti though. I thought the hospital would have phoned up if they suspected something.

I'm okay just bloody terrified, swear this baby is massive lol. Tbh I can't wait to have bubs now, can't sleep, can't walk, can't breathe properly, its all good lol. How are you feeling hun?
