"Hi got another one!"

I know i have asked quite a few questions but this is my first pregnancy and i want to make sure everything is ok.
Just in the past couple weeks I have started to have menstrual like cramps. While these stink to have i just assumed that it was the baby growing inside me. Now the cramping has started not just in front of my belly but my thighs and well... it just feels like my whole underside is streaching and it is rather uncomfortable. I am not Bleeding and it isn't a shaper pain, just like everything is streaching, but i didn't think it would be this painful... am i right to assume that it is just the baby growing?
Please help, I am so worried that there would be something to go wrong. Goodness i hope the baby doesn't mind a worrysome mom!

"Round ligament pains"

Hi

I had these a few weeks back - the midwife told me they were 'round ligament pains', which you get when your uterus is not only stretching, but lifting up to give the baby more space. The ligaments are stretched upwards, which would explain the pain in the tops of your legs. She made a kind of fist shape then bent her wrist upward to show me what she meant - hope this makes sense! lol x

It's so good to hear that someone else is suffering the same.

The tops of my thighs ache on an evening, as does my tummy - just like during my period. I was really worried and have the question on my list of things to ask the midwife. Will see her in two days time so if you haven't had the answer by then, look out for my reply!

I don't think there is anything to worry about if it's not accompanied by prolonged pain and/or bleeding. Chin up.

Hi,

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about and is just your uterus stretching and getting bigger.

Some days my aches are just like pains i get at the time of the month and it feels just like im going to come on....but thankfully i dont!

Im 24 weeks and have started to get swollen feet now aswell! The joys of pregnancy! Good job it's all worth it! x

My legs have had it the worse I have to say - and for no obvious reason! Is a good chance to make sure you're pamapered at home, make sure you get some good rest etc.

With the swollen feet - am so glad am able to wear flipflops - woudl be a pain in preggers during the winter I think.

My fellow Sept mum-to-be! lol

Are you starting to suffer with the heat yet though? Flip flops are a god-send, but it's really clammy hot at the mo where I am and I'm starting to feel like a beached whale - with another 18 weeks to go, plus summer is reported to be hottest on record!! Ohhhh.

Gimme ice cuuuuubes.... lol

How are you? Have got many things for your baby yet??
Do you get really tired after doing little things?
Does your little one move all the time?
I get days where my belly feels different and it seems that little one does not move as much then.
Before I found out I was pregnant I had a dream that I was under these big lights and was going to give birth there was loads of fans around so I think maybe I dreamt it , as i think that when it comes to birth time i will get loads of fans for the heat, let me know how you are Take Carexxxx Abigailxx
