In pain at 33 weeks!! and bump dropped!! help

Hi Ladies, been a while since i posted on here!! So hope everyone is well.

Reach the 33 week mark tomorrow, But in quite a bit of pain, it started last saturday, and its pain under my ribs, and around the lower part of my bump....which got me worried, spoke to midwife when i first felt the pain, and she said will most likely be baby moving round(as he is breech and still is!!) So calmed down a bit and managed to relax and get some sleep, now every now and then keep getting these pains, but my boss noticed over past few days that my bump seems to be lowering....which has now got me more worried, as my friends said there bumps didnt lower until about a week before labour!! This has got me really worried!!

I have a midwife appointment on wednesday at 2pm, but was wondering if it would be worth ringing them and asking to see them tomorrow, or if i was just being paranoid!!
Also got another scan on saturday morning!! cant wait!! get so see my son again!! hee hee...

Love Charlotte and 33week tomorrow blue bump!! xx

Hey huni

I'm just infront of you and I had these exact pains last week when I was at the same stage as you!
I got bad period pains and back ache and woke up with a SHOW
I called the labour ward and they told me to go in for a check as they thought I was in labour.
I had contractions most the day but they ended up sending me home as it was false labour!!!
My bump seemed to drop slightly the day before the pains started. My pains are still coming every now and again.
I seem to be having random contrations!
I also got told it could last weeks or hours so I'm ready with everything waiting! Had to rush out and buy a cot and some bottles and pack my hospital bag!!

Keep us informed hun and don't worry your little boy will be around 4lb now and the special care baby unit is amazing. ( my daughter was born at exactly 24 weeks and she pulled through just fine )

Lucky you having another scan! Wish I was!

Good luck

Hey

Cant really offer much advise but I can say I didnt notice my bump drop my daughter was 2 wks early aswell maybe as your son is breach then that might be the reason - he is all cramped up inside now and running out of room fast so the pain in your ribs may well be him pushing around trying to turn!

Tomorrow is wednesday so I would keep your appointment for then (unless you mean next Wed in which case ring and see if your MW has a spare slot this wks) I wouldnt worry to much though.

Love Zoe, Ellie (17months) and 13wks Bean xxx
