Congrats
Congrats on the pregnancy!
I'm afraid not much happens on the first visit, Your doc may just refer you straight to the midwife and not do anything at all, or he may fill in the forms with you, It is mainly paperwork, registering that you are pregnant so the hospital can send you out a date for your scan, If you have a nice doc he may take your blood pressure and stuff to make you feel like something is actually happening, but to be honest the first appointment is pretty disapointing as nothing happens!
Oh they may run through the sort of things you should avoid now, ie heavy lifting, raw egg, undercooked meat, alchol ...etc.
Sorry i don't mean to dampen your spirits!
However it is always exciting telling someone for the first time!
