Growth scan this afternoon

Hey all,

Hope all bumps and ladies are doing well!

I have a growth scan this afternoon as am measuring 6 weeks small and apparently haven't grown in last 3 weeks (don't belive that! as husband agrees with me that I'm def bigger, but never mind) Will be nice seeing baby again!

However a small part of me, is half hoping that baby isn't growing anymore and that I have to be induced, as am over 37 weeks now so baby is technically full term so will just have a very low birth weight and they would prefer to get it out as can feed it up on the outside if my placenta has stopped doing its job properly!

I feel really bad for hoping that it has stopped growing! Its not that I want something to be wrong, its just really exciting to think I could have my baby this week! However at the same time, it completley terrifies me!

hey iv had a growth scan today at 28 weeks and my babys nearly 3 lb already did u have a scan at 32 and 34 like i have to have ? if so didnt they notice baby was small then ? i had a growth scan in my last pregnancy and was told my daughter was 7lb she was only 5lb so they can be a little big or smaller that the scan says what are they gonna do xxx

Had the scan

I was measuring 31cm at 34 weeks but my midwife wasn't concerned so didn't send me for a scan, but because i was still measuring 31 cm at 37 weeks she sent me for the scan.

Everything was fine, baby is on the small end of the allowences and my amneotic fluid is the min 'normal' amount, but evrything appears healthy. However they have decided to rescan me in a couple of weeks so they can compare and check that it is all still ok. However as am 37+4 weeks now, that will more or less be my due date!
