12 week scan

hi girls

had my scan 2day and everyhing is fine bubs is a bit camera shy woudnt show his/her face at all lol, had its hands on its knees at one point tho was so cute im soooooooooooooo excited now. measured in at 13+2 but may as well just stick with my 13+1 not much diffence eh, so edd 23rd march cant wait!!!counting down to 20 wk scan now doesnt seem that far away!!

cant believe how much bubs was moving around lol!! midwife was excellent and talked through it all said placenta looked good but its positioning means i wont be able to feel bubs move as much as other poeple can but so not the worst problem to have i guess!!!

You have the same EDD as me - 23rd March although I'm thinking baby will be 2 wks early like my daughter was!!!

I loved my 12 week scan and didn't want it to end. My baby was posing for the camera!!

I started my countdown til 20 week scan straight away, 4 weeks today, wuhoo!!!

Yeah I know what you mean about the dates, I measured different at my 12 week scan but I kept the same due date as I thought baby will come when it's good and ready!
Oh have you got an anterior placenta? I had that with my first. I still felt some pretty big kicks!! But didn't feel her move until 18 weeks. This time I felt baby move at 15, but they reckon you feel it earlier on with your second

Glad to hear everything went well. This is where time goes fast now! Make the most of it! It doesn't seem 2 minutes since I was at your stage the first time round and now I'm nearly ready to pop with my second 3 years later LOL

Anterior placenta

yes thats what she said,

just have done some googling and apparently it just means that placenta is right at the front of uterus so acts like a bit of a cushion but hopefully will still feel something maybe just a bit later on. i dont no if if its low or high, if its low and covering cevix u may need a section which also can be difficult as they have to go through it first. im not worrying just a the moment and can ask and find out closer to due date, plenty of time!!

sounds soo exciting.glad to hear everything is ok. hey, at least bubs wont keep u up all night kicking if you wont feel it as much just looking on positive side. as long as you know everything is ok that the main thing. ive got my dating scan on monday, cant wait. funny what you say about count down to 20 week scan. i sd to my mum today ive been counting down to monday then ill be on countdown again till 20 weeks scan, lol. great minds think alike. lol.
