September/october mummies
Anyone else sick to the back teeth of being pregnant and just want the baby out?!
I am really struggling with aches, pains, sleepless nights, discharge, heartburn, baby movements, waddling and generally feeling like a useless wife and mother to a very active 21 month old.
Ahhhhh, feel a bit better after that rant.
Went to see my consultant on Tuesday to check whether the baby is breech (thankfully not) and whether he will induce me early because my midwife is concerned that the baby is going to be a whopper. But, he said that he is only bothered about small babies and basically it's tough ... Nice!
So, I am playing the waiting game. Bored bored bored and want to go into labour NOW.
Anyone any tips on how to pass the time (that doesn't involve doing housework!!!)
Love to all, Lesley xxx 37+4

I have totally had enough now, and have all the things that you have been getting and more probably lol!
I am really fed up and just wanna meet my baby now!!
I have been booked for a cesarean on the 2nd October so I am very lucky that I know exactly when baby will be here, but now I am just so impatient lol now I know the day I just want to go to sleep and not wake up until that day lol!!
To pass time I am sorting out all the washing and ironing and getting rid of stuff we dont need. Have also been washing all of baby's things, and sorting our drawers for it to all go lol. I wanna make sure that everything has a place as OH is a nightmare when it come to actually looking for stuff!! I have visions of him bringing my daughter to the hospital in clothes that are mismatched or too small lol!!
Hope your well
Alex, Megan (5) and baby bump that will be here in 14 days!!!! xx

October 2nd, but probably will be early...
Hi! I'm due on October 2nd, they think, but I've been told to expect him early. I'll be excited to have him here!
Actually, this pregnancy is treating me very well besides the fact that I feel huge! And, I have six-year-old twins and a five-year-old (all girls, very interested in the baby and pregnancy) to care for! Thank the Lord for school, right?
Hang in there, hun.
Love,

I'm
an october mummy! ( 31st so only just! ) and I'm also sick of being pregnant! I'm huge this time round and struggling because I'm so small usually ( I'm 5 foot and a size 6 usually! ) so being so big I'm finding it really hard. At least we haven't got long to go eh?
Good luck and here is some labour dust!!

I want it to end
I can't wait now, I've never been in so much pain. I can't walk at all and struggling to get upstairs, this baby is way to comfy in there. I'm with you on the feeling useless thing, plus the discharge etc. I thought increased discharge was a sign that labour wasn't too far away, but that was 6 weeks ago lol.
Nice to know that doctors don't care about big babies, I'm sure mine is gonna be huge but I'm basing that on my bump size compared to last time. I'm measuring a little over but I'm obese so it's not very accurate for me.
I have no idea how to pass the time, I just want baby now...one thing I have discovered though is short cervix doesn't always mean early baby lol.
Good luck and fingers crossed we are holding our little ones soon.
Love Toni, Rhys (16months) and Lily bump (38wks today omg!) x x x

I feel the same...
I'm due 05 Oct, and am desperate for the baby to come out now... I just want to meet him/her now, as I'm far to impatient to be pregnant, I can't believe how long it takes for a baby to cook!
But like Kat says, I kinda don't want the excited feeling to end, as it's the most excited I have ever been in my whole entire life!
Am struggling to sleep because of big belly, and I have big transvestite hands from Carpal Tunnel, but can't complaint as a mini miracle is going on inside me, so this pregnancy can chuck anything at me and I'll keep smiling...
I just want the baby in my arms now...
Have been bouncing on my gym ball, drinking raspberry leaf tea, and eating pineapple... Going for a curry the weekend too... Lets see!
The little one will come out when it's good and ready (how many times have I heard that... Grrrr!)
Lots of love

I'm still quite happy to wait!
Hi,
I have all the same complaints as you, but still not mentally ready for baby to arrive! Everyone keeps saying to me 'I bet you are getting so fed up now and just want it out' but no I really don't!
Maybe its because this is prob going to be my last pregnancy. (my husband on I have decided we just want two children, however you never know how we will feel in a couple of years!) So I think that I want to savour it as much as I can. Because as much as I physically hate being pregnant, It is such an exciting emotional time and the feeling of having another life growing in you is magical, don't want it to end!
I think also because we still have a bit of DIY that we want doing before baby arrives, I want everything to be ready and perfect for when baby arrives!
Things to pass the time - If you want baby out quick then try doing all the natural labour inducing things, not sure if any of them work, but gives you something to do and can be fun!
Such as eating lots of curry and pineapple, pressing the reflexology points on your feet, bouncing on your ball, while watching a comedy (laughing is meant to help bring on labour!) Having sex, you may not feel like it at this stage, but is basically a natural way of having a pessery to induce the labour. Drive down bumpy roads, go for walks.
I found shopping was a great time killer in the last few weeks last time, also means you are doing lots of walking which is good.
Go for massages or reflexology sessions, the reflexology can be really good at readying your body for the birth and as I said before they can work on points to encourage the body to produce the horemones to start labour. However I will warn you, these points will be very painfull!
I find running around after my 20 month old keeps me busy enough and helps to pass the day too, however completely knackers me out!
