My little boy is here
Vinnie Michael arrived this morning at 6.21, i'd been having irregular contractions since tuesday night, became more frequent at 5pm yesterday, got a couple of hours sleep between 9pm-11pm then the contractions woke me up. At 12.45 am i went into hospital was 6-7cm dilated got on the gas and air, had a pethadine towards the last bit and 3 or so pushes later he flew out. 6lb 5oz, bit of a suprise as my first baby was 8lb 9 so wasn't expecting the small little man before me, he's lovely sooo tiny, quite sleepy because of the pethadine but thats likely to be the case for the rest of the day. I decided not to stay in so i'm home much more relaxed. good luck everyone with your births, i've been very fortunate with both mine, had epidural with frankie which was great but it was nice to do it last night without one (perhaps nice isn't the right word lol) going to go to the babies and toddler forum, got my boys that will be it for us now, over the moon, lots of love and luck to you all
