How soon might i get pregnant after i stop taking cerrazette?

Hi all, I'm a newbie on here!

I have 2 children, aged 13 and 4 and my husband and i have decided to try for one last baby!!
At present i am taking cerrazette mini pill, have been for 3 and half years. Going to stop taking in either tonight or when this packet has finished (2 weeks), depending on what hubbie says when i put it to him tonight!!

How soon do you think i might get pregnant?? Anyone done this/experienced this?? I'm impatient by nature!! lol

Well, after breastfeeding my daughter my HV & doc suggested I stay on Cerrazette rather than upset my body by changing back to my combind pill. Well after much discussion we decided to try for baby number 2 and after taking almost a year to fall with our daughter we thought why not now this was at the end of May. I had 2 weeks left in my packet so I said I'll finish the packet and then we can start but on 6th June my OH said if we're gonna try it makes no odds if its this week or next and with that threw my last week in the bin (I didnt mind I was more than happy with us trying again!) I am am currently 13+6wks pregnant!!!! I fell within about a week of stopping my Pill!!!!

It really does depend on each indivual but there is no reason why you wont fall quickly!! My MW and Doc said that with the mini pill there is less fake drugs to get out of your system than with the combined pill which is why they say I fell so quickly.

Hope this helps, try the if we're gonna do this why wait line on your hubby and see if it works!!!

Hi Zoe, thanks so much for the advice. I spoke to hubbie this evening and said, what difference does a couple of weeks make, might as well start now! He said, sure, why not! So excited now, not going to take the pill tonight and already ordered my folic acid! Cant wait for this to all start. I hope i have as much luck as you did. Fancy staying touch?

Hiya,

After being on Cerazette for 2 years, I came off, had 1 period and caught pregnant straight away. My son is now 20 months old. I am currently pregnant again from coming off the same pill just 2 months ago. I'm not sure whether it's the pill or I just catch easy.
