Growth scan and blood tests

Hi all,

Went for another growth scan today so that the consultant could compare my last one with something, everything is fine, still growing on the same rate nicely and apparently is approx 7lbs 3oz! My daughter was that when she was born 8 days late! So so much for this one being smaller than her!

My bloods came back that they took last mon when I was in the day assessment unit due to swelling, trace protien in urine and high blood pressure and show that my platelets are considerably lower than they were at my booking in appointment. So they took more bloods today. Blood pressure was fine today and no protien in urine today. Have to ring at 8pm this eve to check how thebloods are and go in to be monitored if still bad, otherwise have to go in next mon for more bloods and Wed to see consultant if baby still not arrived!

Is getting quite exciting the nearer I get to the end. Now that I know that baby is of a good size and weight then I don't mind when it comes and all scans and tests have shown it to be healthy so all ready for it to arrive now!

However I'm sure I will be still sitting here this time next week waiting!

I hope all other ladies and bumps are well and those nearly due are not too uncomfortable!
