Uurrgh!

I have been in Hotel Chocolat today and a nice man came up to me and asked if I would like to try some truffles. Great I thought-FREE CHOC! Then remembered I am pregnant so not allowed due to raw eggs. SUCKS!

I have not had any alcohol yet and was known for the odd glass (ahem) so I will enjoy that. Oh and a really red rare steak which I confess I had 2 of before I saw the midwife. Ooops.
Em

Oh my days!! I didn't know you couldn't have runny egg!!!! I'VE EATEN HUNDREDS!!!
I also didn't know you can't dye your hair!!!! I've just dyed mine brown tonight!!! Oh my god I feel so horrible now!!

Don't worry Sammie, I've been sneaking the odd glass of wine too. I'm sure one every so often can't hurt.
I'm gonna belly dive on my bed too!! sounds a plan ha ha

Think I will also down a vodka and coke. I'm not BF woohoo!

Aw I feel so bad now

Ummmmmmmm.............

A DIPPY EGG!!!

all i really want is a really runny boiled egg with toast! i have even put it in my birthplan that after i have given Lily her first feed I WANT A DIPPY EGG!! (and won't be happy unless i get one!)

I also want a dark rum but will hopefully be breast feeding for her first 6 months so, that will have to wait, but how nice will it be when i do get one!!!

Gem & Lilly 32wks today! (ooooooh only 8 togo excited!!)

Ooooooooooooooo

I first plan on dying my hair , i dont plan on breast feeding so i cannot wait!!! Eating a huge chunk of brie and salami and parma ham plus smoked salmon, a nice ice cold portuguese beer just cannot wait now!!

Well i have been eating the odd prawn mayo jacket potato and medium rare steak and camembare cheese so im not too worried about these things, also been eating nuts as well as no history of allergies in both families.

I have a bottle of pear champagne which im dying to get into, so when i come home, in opening that and downing a glass or 2 (bottle feeding after the first couple of weeks)

Well

id get up and first of all take my nasal spray cos its a strong spray for the trouble i have with my sinuses but i cant take while pg so its like ive got constant flu at the mo
i would then have 2 eggs with soldiers, RUNNY EGG!!!!WOOO HOOOOO!
id then go to town shopping for hair dye while eating pistachio nuts (bro in law allergic so being safe rather than sorry, miss my nutella too, lol)
then that night i would order a takeaway...... PIZZA! ive really gone off cheese so im hoping ill like it again once baby born. then that night me and bf would well.......... i think ill let you use your imagination, hee hee
oh and id probably buy tampons, after not using them for 9 months id probably forget that i need to buy them again, lol

im not a big drinker anyway so that wouldnt really bother me, i think id mostly just be glad to be myself again and not have to think, oooh am i ok to eat or take this etc...

hugs

Hey

I will be having breakfast in bed with dippy egg and soilders and then for klunch a nice prawn baguette and then for dinner who knows!!!!! But while B/Fedding I will still have to keep alcohol to a min but the odd one or two wont hurt!!!

And I will be having a HOT bubbley bath with candles and all!!

Oh, ladies as long as none of your imediate family or his for that matter have a nut allergy then I was told there is no reason to avoid peanuts!!! Neither famikly has had a nut alergy and I ate nuts with my daughter and she is fine!!! I did avoid them in the 1st 12wks though for some reason!!

Hey

I think I'll have champagne and a REALLY rare staek, all bloody, just the way I like it. A few months after I will take delight in sqeezing into a pair of skinnies and wear the highest pair of stilletto's!!

Ooh I might ave a fag, even though I dont smoke, just because I can Mwah ha ha!

You can eat prawns and runny egg and pink meat.....

This time round I am not worrying about soft eggs or rare meat - I cant stand them hardboiled or overcooked steak - yuk! they only say if you caught salmonella or listeria it would be dangerous for bubs, but if all your food is bought and prepared freshly and safely then you needent worry as its such a slim chance of you getting anything liek that. Its not the actual runny eg or pink meat that does harm!

I was soooo paranoid with my first I didnt touch any of the "no go" foods you read about all the time but seriously if you took the advice of every magazine and health professionl youd never leave the house! Its about common sense really. eat safe food thats fresh and you will be fine
The only things I am steering clear of are things that by eating can directly cause harm like swordfish and marlin (but who the hell eats that anyway lol!) and brie or stilton which I really miss, plus no peanuts or shellfish (except prawns, as long as prawns are freshly and properly cooked they are 100% safe)
Try not to pnader to every whim of these people who give the "advice" about what tyou can and cant do in pregnancy and just use your common sense!!

Where do i start....

The biggest glass of ice cold white wine with a really lush cheese board and salami's, i have been having brie and other runny cheese as my midwife said you can as long as they are made with paterised milk which alot are, and i really want a glass of bitter lemon but apparntly it isnt very good for baby cos of the qunine!!! and im looking forward to wanting curry again as this baby doesnt seem to like it very much

Hmmm...

I've been eating prawns and having the odd glass of wine anyway (prawns are ok to eat just not raw)

I will be going to our steak resturant Miller & Carter having a massive steak with stilton cheese (sounds weird is really nice) and a massive glass of red actually 2 massive glasses... then im going to join the gym... and run and belly dive on my bed ooo nooo actually im going to have fun time with BF havent had it in a while and im feeling deprived hehe

Theres loads of things i want to do that i cant wait for - get my hair dyed, my nails done, get a tan!, all superficial things so i can feel good about myself i've been pregnant 2 years in a row now so i need some me time although i might have to wait to stop breastfeeding and baby sleeping through the night to do all this stuff lol!!!
