Quick question ladies and just random talk

Good Morning everyone

Hope all mummies n bumps are well.

I havent been that well recently, started off with a bladder infection, then thrush and now i have a slight cold. Been up since 3.10am as i just havent been able to sleep as throat was really sore. But i know its just my immune system thats down due to the antibiotics plus being pregnant lowers immune system in general, just hoping cold clears up as im meant to be flying to portugal on friday to surprise my family for a few days

My question , which might be a weird one but i cant seem to find any info on it is... Can i eat roast gammon? Im planning on doing a roast today but with a gammon joint, i know it says i should cook it for 30mins in oven but im just not sure if thats long enough for it to be throughly cooked and safe to eat

Thanks and hope you all have a beautiful day

Emmy & 29+3 pink bump

Hi emmy...

...sorry to hear you've not been feeling well lately hun, hopefully your hols will make you feel better!!! ive been getting physio for my pelvis and back, right side of my pelvis is pushed slightly forward than the left side and its so painfull, hope the physio works!

anyway about your roast gammon, that i can actually smell and taste here, i think your ok once its cooked completely through! its the same with most foods. if you feel 30mins isnt long enough then leave it in for another 10mins or so till your happy! hope you enjoy

take care, hope your feeling better soon and enjoy portugal...so jealous...

Orla 25 weeks today...xxxx...

Hey hun

Hey

Sorry to hear that you are in pain I also hope the physio helps you, like being pregnant isnt enough with out added extras like that

Yeah i will see what to do with the gammon, i have to admitt ive never cooked gammon in all my life so i actually have no idea what to do with it or how to cook it, but i guess i can make it up as i go along and see how it comes out next thing you know i will have given myself food poisoning

Thanks and hope your feeling better soon also, cant wait for portugal , its only 4 days but family have no idea so thats exciting

Have a lovely day
