Hey girls

Yes it is most likely your baby moving. They say you can feel it around 16 weeks. Is it your first? Because you feel your first moving alot later on. I didn't feel my daughter move until 19 weeks but with this baby I felt it at 14/15 weeks.
Don't worry everyone is different! Describe the feeling to me hun? But yeah it's prob your baby moving how exciting?

And yes when you get into the last trimester you get a weight estimation. I've just had mine and they have estimated me at 5lb at 36 weeks which means I should technically have a 7lb baby roughly as they reckon bubs puts on 1/2lb per week when you get to 35/36 weeks.
But if you have had your bump measured by your mw then you can get a rough estimate from the weight chart that you get from mw ( have you been given one in your pack? )
Don't worry too much just yet. Your only early on, so mw will do all the measurments and weight estimations as you get further along
Everyone has a different size bump hun, I'm huge compared to some of the ladies on here that are ahead of me!

Hope I've helped a little lol

yes it is my first i know the midwife said i may feel the baby and it is like little flutters somtimes can be quite quick flutters a few in a row and then stop!! feels odd!!

i think i get my bump measured at my 25 week appointment and i think they say i have to come within a certain place on a graph or somthing????
sombody told me that your babys weight is roughlt between yours and your partners birth weight is this complete nonsense??

thank you for your help!!

Hey hun

I wouldnt go by that. Both me and my partner were 7lb7ish but Archie was 8lb15 so this isnt always the way.

Not all hospitals/mw estimate the weight, mine didnt at all, the first I knew of it was when he was born!

Exciting about the movements. Mine felt like someone was lightly running a finger over the inside of my belly

Take care

Hi hun,

Im exactly the same as you in weeks 18+2, ive think that ive been feeling the baby for a few weeks now but i havent really told anybody cos i dont want to feel a prawn and it isnt the baby moving at all. I can go a few days without really noticing anything then i feel her a few times another day. This is my 4th baby and people say the more you have you know the difference, not in my case, if you feel any concerns pop to your doctors and ask them to listen in.

Take care
