Hello

Hiys sweetie

As far as I know it works!!! All it is supposed to do is make labour easier. I had Ellie at 38wks and was only in labour 6 hours start to finish and only had bout 2 puffs on Gas and Air!!!! I was drinking it coz I didnt know you could get tablet form until the day before she came!!! I was drinking about 5 cups a day by then and was ddrinking it with half hot water and half cold so I could down it without tasting it as after several cups it is not the nicest taste!! I am not entirely sure how the tablets compare to the tea though!!

I was also eating fresh pineapples!!! One whole pineapple throughout the day everyday for 7 days. I ate my 7th one on 17th April, was in bed by 10.30 - 11pm ish and had Elklie on 18th April at 8.41am, and 2wks early so it was either the tea or the pineapple so either way I will be doing the same again this time around!!!

Thanks for reply hunny!
I think I will carry on then I did read somewhere that it was meant to help prevent tearing during labour? Do you know if that's true?
I'm gonna go to the shop now and stock up on pineapples!!!

I really can't stomach the tea! I tried and failed lol it tastes like warm blackcurrent to me and that reminds me of being sick as a child
I'm taking the tablets, just one a day so far from 34 weeks. Maybe I should up my dose? I just don't know how many is safe.

Thanks anyway hun

Kirst and bump.x

I did read that depending on the dosage of the tablets will determin on how many you should take. For example if you take the 640mg tablets its recommended you take 2 tablets with water 3 times a day.

When I had my daughter I only had a internal graze, i had it suitured simply coz the MW though it best to minimize bleeding. I only grazed coz she came out with her arm behind her head - oh nice and chilled!!!!

The day before I had Ellie I had a American Spicy Pizza off of Asdas fresh pizza counter, and I walk the dog in 15 mins round the same walk that normally took 30 mins - nice and briskly!!!!!

Hope these things work for you too hun

Love Zoe, Ellie and bean xxx
