Hi!! congrats!!

Well, i used to come on here a lot, especially when i got preg the first time, as i was ttc for a year then had a Missed miscarriage, i then a year later went onto conceive my daughter Maisie who is now 19 weeks old, i have found out today that i am pregnant again! i am still in absolute shock, i wanted my kids close together too and didn't think it would happen so soon!! just cant believe it. done a digital test and a first response. i was EBF Maisie untill she was 15.5 weeks so i must have concieved literally as soon as i had stopped feeding! Bizarre i can't get my head round it! this morning i woke up with that familiar sicky feeling that i had with Maisie up untill 22 weeks, and something just made me think to test.
i'm thinking i'm 4 weeks too!!!!
sorry for rambling on and on but i just needed to get all that out , i'm happy but i really didn't expect it so soon. plus my fiance has been working awaty and doing nights for the last few weeks so i'm thinking its almost a miracle!!!!
sorry again for going on a bit but i need to get this out!!!
take care all!!

Congratulations to you too!!!

Hope your well, i woke up yesterday morning with my first morning sickness.. definatley havnt missed that!!! I wasnt sick but just felt awwwful!
I wanted my kids close together and i think a year and a half is a great gap... As long as your happy and you know you will have help when you need it then thats all that matters. Just think at Christmas' when they can sit and play together and they will be into the same things. (Prob a lot of bickering lol) but thats what its all about.. I cant wait. I loved being pregnant with Ruby so im just hoping this one goes just as smoothly.. I had a rough time giving birth considering i went through 59 hrs of labour and resulted in an emergency c sec, but lucklily for me this one is going to be planned so i wont have the labour part!!!!

Take care..

Well i've done 6 tests now in total same as you just to make sure its all real, and they have gotten stronger each time, the even more strange thing is that last time i didn't strt to show untill at least 20+ and this time my belly has already began to bloat a bit and i have definately already noticed it hardening a bit - sounds crazy i know but think i may be 5 weeks ish - the bloating has started!!!!! only had a few bits of sickness so ar and hoping it won't be as ad as last time!!!
take care and i'm sure we'll talk again as we're at the same stage with no 2

Hi

I am about the same amount pregnant as you are! Congratulations - I found out yesterday two, I only did two tests though because my period was three days late (it never is) I kinda knew somthing was up.

This is will hopefully be my first child (second pregnancy) so it's all new!

Good luck with the doc on Friday, I'm going on Wednesday nxt week. Can you pls tell me what I should expect at this appointment?

Best wishes, Sam

Congratulations to you too!!

I loved my first pregnancy so i hope it goes as smoothly for you as it did for me. I carried back to back with my first which resulted in a C sec but it was all worth it. Are you hoping for a girl or a boy? I wanted a surprise which i will be doing again with this one.. Takes all the fun out of being pregnant i think!! Its a wonderful feeling when you find out whether your little bundle is a girl or a boy!!

Docs tomorrow! Suppose it will make it seem more real because at the moment i hardly feel pregnant at all.

Take care and hopefully hear about your visit at the docs..

congratulations to you both!!

rubysmummy - what age gap will you have between the bambinos? i wanted mine close together, mostly cos there is a big gap between me and my bro (8 years) and i didnt want that for mine. i ended up with 13 months . my son oliver, my first baby, was 4 months old when i fell pg again and now he has a little sister called emilie who is 6 months old.

sam - what happens at your first appointment depends very much on where you live as far as i can make out. my doctors wouldnt even entertain seeing me 'just because' i was pregnant! i was booked in to see the m/w at 8 weeks and she took bloods, went thro family medical history etc etc. it does vary from one area to another though and also on your medical history, ie, if you have had any past mc's etc. altho even that, where i live, makes no difference. a friend of mine had a baby, then 2 mc's, then another, then another 2 mc's and when she fell pg again, the docs wouldnt get her a scan because she hadnt had 3 mc's in a row! which i think is pretty dreadful really. but like i say, it just depends. i have seen ladies on here who have been sent for scans to put their mind at rest etc, so fingers crossed you live in an area where they are nice!

good luck with both your pregnancies - im a lurker from the baby and toddler board, i like to pop over and see how you are all doing.

here is to a happy and healthy 9 months for both of you.

love kelly, oliver 20 months tomorrow and emilie, 28 weeks tomorrow!

Thank-you!!

My first, Ruby is 11 months. She 1 on the 17th October. It goes by sooo quick and here i am again lol. I think im around the 4 week mark but cant be 100% sure untill i see the doc tomorrow. It is really nice to have them close together, my friend has two and they have only a year between them and they get on so well together.

Take care

ahhhhhhhhhhh! rubysmummy - having just seen your post on FB, i have realised who you are now!

well done you! xxx

Hey

Yes its mee, im back lol. Got to do it all again, and surprisingly so, i have actually forgotten quite a lot of things i should and shouldnt be doing, ie, what foods i should avoid and so on.. in a way am glad because i thought that was the fun part last time round.. digging up info off the internet and looking thru my books.
Went docs the other day and we worked out i was 6 weeks yesterday, but i have a feeling im further gone, i keep thinking i can feel flutters in my tummy altho it could be just wind lol. Hope not!!

Take Care
