Introducion

Hi ladies, my name is Sam and I have been on the ttc site since the beginning of this year.

I just found out that I am four weeks and four days pregnant. This is my second pregnancy. The first was in Feb this year but I miscarried at six weeks.

It feels like it's taken absolutely ages to get pregnant so I am so happy that we've managed to get to this stage finally but I feel scarred that I'm going to loose the baby again in a couple of weeks. I'm trying to stay positive. I feel worse this pregnancy, bloated, sick and sore nips so fingers crossed these are good signs.

I've had a quick look on the site and recognise some of the names. I hope to get to know you better over the next eight months!

Quick question - do you think the doc would let me go for a seven week scan to help with my anxiety levels re the health of this pregnancy? I don't think I can take waiting for twelve weeks.

I'd be grateful for any words of wisdom or advice about now! I know you understand.

tc,

Sam xx

Hiya sam congrats again!

Welcome, it's nice have another one of us over here.

Like the other lady said they will give you an early scan if you have had an early mc last time as they tend to keep a closer eye on you with any problems like that.
now you try and take it easy hun and just take each day as it comes, we're all here for you.

pm anytime if need to talk too.

tc love, hugs and happy bumps

Hi sam

Congrats on the pregnancy!!!

Sorry to hear about about your miscarriage earlier this year I can only imagine the fears you have this time around.

Sorry to hear your feeling worse this pregnancy but i have to tell you those are all GOOD, NORMAL signs
I didnt feel sick but i deff felt really badly bloated and dont get me started on the nips

I think that due to your experience earlier this year that there should be no reason why you shouldnt have an early scan, actually they should be wanting to do one anyway. My neighbour experienced a missed miscarriage last year and she had scans done early on and in general will have more scans then me because of her experience before, so deff ask about it.

Wishing you all the best

Congratulations

Hi Sam

I'm not sure bout lettting you have a early scan I think it really depends on how nice your Doc is to be honest!
