Hello

I am 8 weeks pregnant and feeling stupid/paranoid about my belly.
I have had lots of 'normal' symptoms such as nausea & headaches but I am also convinced that my stomach has changed shape or moved. I have searched the web and can't find anyone talking about bumps at 8 weeks so now I'm worried I am either completely paranoid or there is a litter in there!

Any ideas?

"I was the same"

I am now 14 weeks but by 8 weeks I was having to leave my top button undone. As the weeks went on and I lost my appetite, I knew that it couldn't just be over-eating. The doctor said that it was water retention and that seemed to make sense.

At 11 weeks I had to start wearing maternity clothes and holiday clothes that I bought (non-maternity) a couple of months ago don't go anywhere near me now!

I thought that since I had a fair bit of weight to start with, I wouldn't notice much of a change but it is fairly impressive!

We had our scan last week and there is definitely only one little person in there so I can't blame it on twins.

It wasn't a problem finding maternity clothes, it was just the embarrassment of having to justify why I was buying maternity clothes so early.

I now *love* having a bump (now that clothes fit me again!). As I have said to another poster before, we are all wrapped in the same pregnancy blanket but each have very different experiences.

Enjoy looking fuller!
"In maternity jeans at 6 weeks! "

Hi,

I had to buy my first maternity jeans at 6 weeks, just for comfort really! I don't think anyone but me, my partner & my mum could see the difference that early, but my wardrobe was switched to just maternity wear by 10 weeks. Don't worry though, everyone is slightly different!

I was also showing at around 8 weeks, it was extremely noticable because before I became pregnant my stomach was completely flat.. and now it's like a little ball!
"Also already showing"

I'm about 10 weeks pregant and have had a much rounder tummy for the last week or so. Most of my clothes are starting to feel unconfortable. I had quite a flat & toned stomach before and have always been quite slim. However, I have a pregnant colleague who has always carried a bit of extra weight and even at 5/6 months pregnant, she doesn't seem to show much, she just looks overweight. I think it must depend on what your figure was like pre-pregnancy.
