Still doesnt seem real!

Went to the doctors today for my first visit, worked out that im 5 1/2 weeks but i still feel further gone!! Will have to wait for my scan. Its strange because it still doesnt feel real that i have a little baby inside me.. Well, a bean! My first one was great, i was always looking through books, asking people questions, it was always on my mind... with this pregnancy, no body seems as excited as when i told them i was pregnant with my first. I keep forgetting im pregnant actually which is wierd.. Has anybody else experienced this with a second pregnancy? I really want to feel like i did on my first but i spose now i know what to expect its not as exciting!!!

this is my 2nd i had a mc last year but im 15 weeks now and i feel like u i forget some times and finding it hard to think im really preg i went shopping few weeks back and looked at baby stuff but just could not get in the mood for getting things i got a pack of vests last night but apart from that it still feels un real even tho i had my scan at 13 weeks im starting to get a bump now so i getting more used to the idea but the excitment has not really hit me im sure people are excited but as it so early and ur finding it hard to get ur head round things then thats prob how others feel wait till u got a little bump and im sure ur feel better and ur family and friends will get in the the swing of it xx

Im sorry to hear about your mc.. It is a strange feeling the second time round, i was like you, i went into next today to have a look at some bits and walked by the baby stuff and it didnt even interest me to have a look at them.. which isnt like me at all. I cant wait for my bump. I loved having a bump with Ruby.
