Has anyone started showing earlier than 12 wks?

Hi there, was wondering if anyone else started showing a little rounder at 9wks?

Just when i got up tues morning it felt like i've grown a little rounder pudding (belly) overnight and it's still feels like it now.
I'm not exactly showing as such but when a friend and neighbour asked she said she could see that i was getting a little bigger.
Eeeeeeeeeeek i thought i wasn't gonna show until 12wks! See i'm only slim but always had a little pudding esp after eating meals.

I don't mind getting a bump it'll make me feel more pg but now.....

sorry for the moan just this is my first baby.

tc love,hugs and happy bumps

Hey girls and bumps

When i was 5 weeks i got bigger and bloated and when i was 6 n half weeks i went from my size 10 to 12 and then a 14, i was worryed i was going to be huge lol xxx

Hi sherri

Those belly belts sound amazing. I'm going to wait abit longer and then invest. Man I could have done with those last week because I was sooooo bloated for half of the week I thought I was going to be in trouble with this pregnancy and be absolutely huge. Thankfully it's gone down again now I think I'll have to watch out what foods I'm eating. I'm back in my jeans thank goodness!!!

xx

Hiya hun

they are quite good i tried it with my skinny jeans which thankfully i can still fit in but when i used the smallest belt i felt more comfortable with it as it usually squishes under my belly a little.
just at the moment no matter wot i eat i look more pg than i really am besides having a more rounder pudding!
hope you're keeping well.

Hiya girls

thanks for replying thought i was the only one getting a belly a bit too soon! lol

Well i had a work colleague ages ago and when she was pg she got herself a belly belt, wot it is, is a piece of strong elastic with buttons or hooks on one edge and holes or other bit to hooks on the other edge.
I've got myself some, also you get 3 pieces of fabric of different colours which the elastic goes through. all this is to help you stay in your jeans, trousers or skirts without having to buy mat wear (sorry girls should have told you earlier) so all you have to buy is maybe a mat long top or any long top to cover over the part where you can't do your zip up but have this fabric covering your dignity.

Just i can't afford really any mat wear as such and not sure if i'll fit in them with being only small, but i have seen i really nice top in next which i might splash out on though, as i'll need to get long tops as i get bigger myself.
my OH is def seeing my belly being rounder now!

Hi sherri

please tell me more bout these belts where can i get them how much to they cost??? I love my skinny jeans so much! Only prob is they are a size 6 and well....I am not!!! My legs probably are but my waist (what waist!) and hips def not!!!

Love love.

Hiya ems

wow, i thought i was skinny! i'm in a size 8 trousers and 10 tops/dresses!
anyway i got it from amazon costs about £9.90 for the one i got as it's a combo belt as you get 2 different sizes of elastic with as i mentioned before buttons and hooks, 3 pieces of fabric white, light blue and dark blue (you use that with black jeans/pants). postage is about £2.00 so altogether about £11.90 which is not a bad price.
so go on amazon put in belly belt but look for the combo pack as it's much better because of the two sizes of elastic. the first smalle size is when you can't do your button up but can still pull your zip up so far.

i'll have to try it on my skinny jeans haven't tried it yet just they come upto my hips only so i'll see if it works on that and let you know.

size 6 wow! sorry i can't get over how small you are, i'm the smallest out of all my friends but i wear a size 8!

Anyway i hope it really helps you if you get it!

Not usually that small!

It just so happens that in miss selfridge the size 8 was too big and the 6 fitted much better! Clothes shops are so bad i could be a 6 in one but a 10 in another! and believe me the jeans may fit my legs but there is no way anywhere else!!! In leggings i have gone from size 8 to 14!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! as someone who has spent yrs as less than size 0 this is a BIG shock but i don't care!!! This is far more important, I have told the mw and docs i don't want to know my weight and they are not to put it in notes anywhere i might see it!

\take care of yourself and your pudding!!

Ems 11+6 plum!!!

Hiya ems

yeah i know exactly wot you mean i can be a size 8 in one shop and a size 10 in another and some size 10 are a bit of a snug fit too. it is very annoying!
Aww hun i really feel of ryou with putting on that weight but like you say the baby is far more important. it will be my first time being big too as i've never been bigger than a size 10 in my life!

you take care of yourself and your plum too!

Yep

I am!

I am nearly 11 weeks and my clothes have been a bit tight around the waist band. I have bought some maternity tops which cover, but the maternity trouser look a bit silly at the moment.

Emma

Yes me!!!

You may have read my posts few weeks ago. MY consultant even told me i looked 5 mths gone! Thanks! He said as i was anorexic in the past the muscles have just relaxed and also I don't drink enough fluid and that it will be water retention! mIts becoming impossible to hide! Especially at the gym, doesn't help i jump off my spin bike twice in a 45 min spin class!! Have alreading bought and am wearing maternity stuff.
