my baby is nearly 18 weeks old and my first midwife wouldnt even speak to my boyfriend she cut him out of everything and when i foud out i was pregnent he was 19 and i was 18 so cause we were teenagers she didnt have time for us so i changed my doctors just so i could have another midwife who was so much better she took time out to get to know us and said that she felt that most midwifes think you should have a career bought a house and all the rest of it i mean i may only be a teenage mum but me and my boyfriend live together been together 3yrs and both work full time. and to top it all off he takes his role as a dad very seriously.xxx

Im 23 weeks now and i am going to change my midwife she is so dull and uninterested whereas i have questions concerns occasionaly and am of course so excited! its so upsetting. it ruins this special time. she has never weighed me, measured me, called me or felt my tummy. i asked to listen to the babys heartbeat and she said no dont worry about it! she has only taken my blood pressure once. im changing doctors this week!
