When
I had Jude and my mum and sis visited us at hosp, they tried to subtley say they thought it was a ridiculous name by asking if I'd reaaallly thought about it and sis just outright said she thought I'd end up regretting the name choice. When they left I was actually doubting myself, just as you are now by asking opinions. Only for 5 mins though and Jude is 6 now.
I think Airon is a nice name, although I reckon it'll get misspelled loads and folk will spell it Aaron so as long as you don't mind correcting them go for it. The problem with using the Aaron spelling is that it is often pronounced Aron like apple, not ayron y' no. So really you can't win, therefore pick the one you like best which is Airon and tell them they don't have to like it but it would be polite if they respected it.
