3d & 4d scans

What is the difference between the 3D & 4D Scans and what do they cost???

I am almost 25weeks when is the best time to go for one? I was thinking of going around 30weeks?

im having a 3d scan on the 26 november at the hospital were im having the baby its only 50 pouns and i get a cd and quiet a few pics im not to sure wot the difference is between the 3d and 4d thou.ill be 27 weeks when i have mine

Can't believe how cheap your prices are compared to the prices I have been given around this area.

I am looking at paying £155.00 this is for a DVD, 4 colour pictures & a medical growth report.

You can pay £85.00 but that is just for the scan & 2 thermal photos.

Anyway I am booked in for 31st October I will be 27weeks.

Sorry, just popped over from babies and toddlers.

3d scans tend to be mainly pics on a cd for you and the 4d scans are a moving images like a video. Mine cost £120 with pics and a dvd.

Best time is about 26 to 30 weeks apparently, i had mine at 30 weeks and absolutely loved it, its so amazing looking at Megan now and then watching the scan video back.

I had a 4D scan at 30 weeks but bubs was breech and very hard to get a glimpse of her face as her legs were up there! The sonographer told me the best time to have a 4d scan is between 26 and 28 weeks as there is more room and they are not so squashed up. Ours costed £120 and we got 2 dvd's with that.
