Growth scan and mini rant!

Hey Ladies,

Firstly I want to say Thanks to everyone for their well wishes in this countdown to due date.

Well yesterday we went for a growth scan as we had one a couple of weeks ago and they thought that baby was a tad on the small side. I am happy to say that she is now 6lb 12 and happy as Larry in there!
They could even see that she had a head of hair! didnt think you could tell that by ultrasound!

Now for the rant! Whlile we were waiting to see the consultant at the Ante-natal clinic, I overheard a young pregnant girl talking to the midwife saying how her mum has swine flu and that she thinks she is coming down with it! Then a rather loud hacking older woman comes in, and goes over to the girl, this is the girls mum and she is coughing everywhere, not covering her mouth and annoucing to the midwife that she has got the lurgy!!!! The midwife just laughed.

Im sorry but are these people completely thick or do they just not care that they are in a place surrounded by vunerable pregnant women spreading their germs! I certainly do NOT think that is is funny, how irresponsible!
Am I overreacting?

Anyway sorry for rant, just made me really angry!

Hannah and 39+3 happy, hairy bump! x

I would have said something to the pair of them. I was stood in line at the post office and the same thing happened. How do these idiots think things spread??

Good news about the scan!! How cute...

Take care and all the best for the big day!! Is the baby still breech?

Good!

That's brilliant news! She is ready and waiting... OH's are funny. Mine is convinced it won't hurt that much and is a bit like a bowel movement - lol

Everything is fine here, i am fully ready for d-day and can't wait!! I love that time of year, just hope she comes before christmas, then again, maybe not so i don't have to cook....

All the best, thinking of you and excited for you!!!!! Any day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey hun

glad you're scan went well.

No you're not overreacting I'd probably be just as outraged as you if i saw that, that is totally truly awful!
I've worked in a pharmacy for 13-14 years so know bout germs etc... it just goes to show how some people these germs get spread in the first place by totally irresponsible people of not taking simple common hygenic sense!
So no you're not alone hun.

tc love and hugs
