What is going on

Ok, so after 13 weeks abstinence from caring bout the state of my hair I decided i would put some highlights in my hair at home. I figured i wouldn't go to a salon and have the dye on my hair for over an hour and be around the smell of chemicals, so chose one free of amonia. BUT my hair won't take the dye!!!? I used one i have used before and took care not to put it too near my scalp but if anything hair is slightly darker??! May end up going to salon after all!

Anyone got any words of wisdom?? HELP I am in dire need!!!

hey hun

it is just cos you are pregnant. this is why some people advise not to dye your hair during pregnancy - the different hormones raging around your body can affect the way in which your hair takes dye. just be thankful it didnt go green or something!
