the cot!!!

Heya Ladies and Bumps,

Hope you are all keeping well? I only have 9 weeks left yeeeey!!!

So we have been decorating our Nursery, and it looks great (even if i do say so myself!!) and we have bought the cot, but not put it up yet.... we were going to until someone told me it was bad luck to put the cot up untill the baby is born?

Has anyone else heard this? As i dont want to temp fate, but i would like to put the cot up to finish off the nusery? I have a moses Basket anyway so wont need the cot for the first few months.

I know this may sound silly, but i only have nine weeks left and reaaaaaaly dont want anything to go wrong now!!!

Take Care Everyone

(December Mummies we dont have long left!!!!)

Heya thanks everyone...

Claire.. I havent packed my bag yet... but i think i should deffinatly start thinking about it, and I properly starting buying stuff at 25 weeks, just because we wanted to spread the cost!! and people started giving me clothes dead early!!!

Feeling mega rubbish today, baby girl was having party time and moving around all night last night and i didnt get a wink of sleep!!!

Hey

I did buy my cot until Ellie was born simply coz I run out of money so we used the moses basket and when she was 8-10wks old we brought it then. As Clare said it is supposed to be the buggy thatshouldnt be in the house but I brought mine and unpacked it before anyone told me that and it was in the nursery for 8 wks and she is fine!!!

I think a lot of it is old wives tales and wouldnt worry to much about it!!!!

Clare: I packed my hospital bag with Ellie when I was about 28wks and then it got repacked every other week coz I coulkd decide if I had everything I needed or had too much!!!!

I think ..

you should be ok with the cot. It is suppose to be the pram in the house that's bad luck.

Although saying that i daren't buy anything still.

When did you start buying?

Also when do you think you should start getting hospital bag ready? I know it's early days for me but i keeping thinking about these things.

Can't believe you only have 9 weeks left, it'll soon fly.

Take care

Love
