Hiya

Thanx for all your lovely welcome messages i feel at home now, just been to my gp and i told him 2 positive tests and hes booked me in for a midwife appt but he didnt test or anything is this normal. As last time i found out i was prg with my little boy i didnt relise myself it was just a must do test before he would prescribe something for me.

I still cant believe it, ran out and bought 2 more first response tests the line on my second isnt very dark but its there and about half as dark as control line is this also normal, gosh i cant stop worrying now. Ill probably use the other test up to make sure aswell . any way im knackered was up early to test and couldnt sleep for excitement aftre this.

Take Care all of you

I never got a blood test or anything to confirm, so don't worry!!! Save the money!!! Don't buy anymore tests! Plenty of nicer things to spend your money on now! Just make the most of all your lovely clothes......mine are now just a memory stashed at the back of the wardrobe Plenty of maternity things taken their place though! Just had a spending spree with my DH yest and mum today!!!

Hiya lynz

Yeah it is i think, when i went to my gp they just accepted my word that i was pg. Then i was told to make an appointment with the mw.

Really glad you're pg hun. it will take a while to get used to it, i still can't believe i'm pg myself even with my symptoms.

hello and welcome!

I didn't get tested at the docs either, they just took my word for it! Seemed weird, but like amanda said they are so accurate there's no point!

I confess to taking 8 preg tests (!!!What a waste of money!!!) before it really sunk in. What are we like?!

Take care of yourself and your little bean!

Bless you....

Hiya Lynz....

I can understand your worries after trying for ages.... tests are so accurate that's why he won't test again, no point, you're pregnant!! I did loads of tests with this one, some faint, some strong. Don't worry about it, you're preggers!!!

All the best for the next 7ish months!!!

Take care!!
