Back from the mw

Hey ladies and bumps

I just thought I'd update you all on my MW appointment today.

As most of you know I had some bleeding on Monday morning and some brownish, redish discharge yesterday (sorry TMI). The bleeding stopped but then I got a few cramps and pains which paniced me as I still havent felt baby move.

Anyway, my surgery rang me with a MW cancellation appointment for today at 4pm - I have been home for bout 20 mins now and all is great!!!! She had a good feel around and said everything was where it should be and that it all felt normal. She listen for the heartbeat and it was there it was - good and strong!!! She test my wee while there too and I have some Leucocytes in there which is white blood cells. She is sending it off for further tests and if positive then I have to have antibiotics. Will get the results beginning of next week.

I have been suffering bad heartburn to so she is also getting the doc to prescribe some Gaviscone which I can pic up tomorrow PM so all is good!!1

Me too

I must be your paranoid twin!!!

Boy bump was so active at the weekend and this week he's been so quiet which has left me worrying.
I don't know what i'd do without my doppler. Although i know i shouldn't rely on it.

I bet your baby is facing wrong way so you can't feel it yet.

Is it next week you go for 20 week scan?

Love

Clare & 22+2 week blue bump. xxxxxxxx

hey

Yeah Monday morning at 9am!!!!! Will have to leave home around an hour before hand as it is not just morning traffic we have to deal with but Monday morning traffic is a nightmare!!!!

We have the week off too which is great but the 1st day of our hols we have a early morning!!!! aaarrrggghhh - if it wasnt such a joy to see the scan I wouldnt be a happy bunny but I can handle one early morning to see baby!!!!

My MW says I may have my placenta at the front this time around which might be why I havent felt any definate movements yet. She told me to try a stethoscope as long as it is placed around my pubic bone (she showed me where to put it) she says I should be ok - her reasons for that is that they are a lot cheaper to buy than a Doppler. So I ordered one for £5 off eBay this morning should be here in a few days!!!
